Dreamers Run Club

Dreamers Run Club is a San Antonio-based community built around running, connection, and chasing dreams. We host weekly social runs every Monday evening at 6:45pm and Friday morning at 6am, with rotating routes across the city at different local businesses, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and community spaces. Our runs are welcoming to all paces, all backgrounds, and all levels — whether you’re training for a race, getting back into running, or just looking to meet new people. Come for the miles, stay for the friendships, networking, wellness activations, and community that continues long after the run ends. Dreamers is more than a run club — it’s a place to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and professionally alongside people who are showing up for themselves and each other.

All You Need To Know

Membership

Dreamers Run Club is open to all paces, all levels, and all vibes. No Olympic trials, qualifying times, or matching sock requirements needed.
To join, we only ask that you:

1. Show up with good energy
Hype people up, be kind, and don’t take yourself too seriously.
2. Respect the route, the city, and the people around you
We run together, we cross streets safely, and we don’t leave anyone feeling alone.
3. Be cool with all paces
Walkers, joggers, runners, sprinters, and the “I haven’t run since middle school” people — everyone belongs.
4. Don’t be weird… unless it’s the fun kind
Good weird is encouraged. Bad weird is not.
5. Stay for the post-run hang when you can
The run is only half the magic. The friendships, coffee, food, drinks, and random life-changing conversations happen after.

Cost

Dreamers Run Club is free to join. No monthly fee, no hidden charges, and no invoice for breathing hard after mile one.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER, AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS
For purposes of this Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Release of Claims (“Waiver”):

“Dreamers Run Club” means Dreamers Run Club, its owners, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, representatives, agents, volunteers, contractors, vendors, sponsors, affiliates, successors, and assigns.

“Event” means any indoor or outdoor group run, race, training session, social gathering, wellness activity, vendor event, promotional event, or other event of any kind organized by, hosted by, sponsored by, related to, or involving Dreamers Run Club.

“Participant” means any individual running, walking, competing, observing, cheering, volunteering, spectating, attending, or otherwise participating in or present at an Event.

“Parent/Guardian” means the parent or legal guardian of a Participant who is under the age of 18.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in or attend an Event, I, as the Participant or the Parent/Guardian of a minor Participant, acknowledge and agree as follows:

1. Compliance with Rules and Instructions
I agree to observe and obey all posted rules, warnings, instructions, and safety directions relating to the Event. I further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by Dreamers Run Club representatives, volunteers, staff, vendors, or event personnel.

If I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation at an Event, I agree to remove myself from participation and bring the hazard to the attention of a Dreamers Run Club representative or event personnel as soon as reasonably possible.

2. Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that participation in or attendance at an Event involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to accidents, falls, collisions, contact with other participants or third parties, weather-related risks, heat exposure, cold exposure, dehydration, overexertion, uneven surfaces, road or trail conditions, traffic, animals, equipment failure, negligent acts or omissions of others, illness, personal injury, bodily injury, emotional distress, property damage, economic loss, permanent disability, paralysis, and death.

I further understand that some Events may include optional activities such as running, walking, stretching, fitness activities, breathwork, training routines, cold plunges, ice baths, saunas, heat exposure, games, social activities, vendor activities, food or beverage service, and other wellness or recreational activities. I understand that these activities may involve additional risks, including but not limited to dizziness, fainting, loss of consciousness, heart complications, stroke, burns, cold-related injuries, heat-related illness, allergic reactions, and other serious injuries.

I understand that these risks may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of other participants, the condition of the premises, weather conditions, equipment, vendors, volunteers, third parties, or the negligence of the Released Parties defined below. I also understand that there may be other risks that are not known to me or reasonably foreseeable at this time.

I knowingly, voluntarily, and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, related to my participation in or attendance at any Event, including risks arising from the ordinary negligence of Dreamers Run Club, its representatives, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, partners, or any other Released Party.
3. Health and Fitness Representation

I represent and warrant that I am physically and mentally able to safely participate in or attend the Event and any related activities. I understand that Dreamers Run Club does not provide medical advice, medical screening, or professional medical supervision. I agree that I am solely responsible for determining whether I am healthy enough to participate in any Event or activity.

I agree that I will not participate in any activity if I am ill, injured, impaired, under medical restriction, or otherwise unable to safely participate.

4. Emergency Medical Treatment
I authorize Dreamers Run Club representatives, volunteers, vendors, event personnel, or other persons present at the Event to obtain or provide emergency medical assistance for me if, in their reasonable judgment, medical care is necessary or appropriate.

I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for all costs associated with any medical care, transportation, treatment, or emergency services provided to me. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any costs, claims, or damages arising from or related to such medical care or emergency response.

5. Release from Liability
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, estate, insurers, successors, assigns, representatives, and any person claiming through me, fully and forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Dreamers Run Club; its owners, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, contractors, vendors, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates, successors, assigns, and insurers; all Event sponsors, vendors, partners, advertisers, volunteers, staff, and service providers; and all owners, lessees, lessors, managers, operators, municipalities, governmental entities, or other persons or entities responsible for premises or property used in connection with an Event (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, expenses, injuries, liabilities, lawsuits, costs, or attorney’s fees of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in, attendance at, or presence at any Event.

THIS RELEASE INCLUDES, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASED PARTY.

This Waiver does not release claims that cannot legally be released under applicable law.

6. Agreement Not to Sue
I agree not to sue, file any claim against, or otherwise seek damages or relief from the Released Parties for any injury, illness, death, property damage, loss, expense, or other harm arising out of or related to my participation in, attendance at, or presence at any Event, except to the extent such claims cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

7. Indemnity
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, demands, lawsuits, damages, losses, liabilities, expenses, costs, and attorney’s fees arising out of or related to my participation in, attendance at, or presence at any Event.

If I am signing as the Parent/Guardian of a minor Participant, I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor Participant, including claims for personal injury, illness, death, property damage, medical expenses, or any other damages arising out of or related to the minor Participant’s participation in, attendance at, or presence at any Event.

8. Authorization to Record; Media Release
I grant Dreamers Run Club and its representatives, agents, contractors, vendors, sponsors, partners, licensees, and assigns permission to photograph, film, video record, livestream, or otherwise record me and/or the minor Participant during or in connection with any Event.

I authorize Dreamers Run Club to use my name, image, likeness, voice, appearance, statements, biographical information, silhouette, and any photograph, video, audio, recording, or other media containing me or the minor Participant, in whole or in part, in any format or media now known or later developed, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertisements, promotional materials, newsletters, press releases, videos, photographs, and other marketing or business materials.

I understand and agree that Dreamers Run Club may use such recordings and materials without additional permission, review, approval, payment, royalty, or compensation to me or any third party.

9. Use of Participant Information
I authorize Dreamers Run Club and its representatives, volunteers, contractors, vendors, sponsors, service providers, and event partners to use the information I provide in connection with registration, sign-in, check-in, waiver forms, emergency contact forms, payment records, or other event-related documentation (“Participant Information”) as reasonably necessary for Event administration, participant communication, safety, emergency response, registration management, insurance, recordkeeping, legal compliance, sponsor/vendor coordination, and other legitimate operations related to Dreamers Run Club events.

I understand that Dreamers Run Club may share Participant Information with third parties assisting with or participating in the Event only to the extent reasonably necessary for those purposes.

10. Parent/Guardian Representation for Minor Participants
If I am signing this Waiver on behalf of a minor Participant, I represent and warrant that I am the minor Participant’s parent or legal guardian and that I have full legal authority to sign this Waiver on the minor Participant’s behalf.

I further agree that all releases, waivers, assumptions of risk, authorizations, and indemnity obligations in this Waiver apply equally to me and to the minor Participant.

11. No Oral Modification
I agree that the terms of this Waiver may not be changed, modified, or waived except in a written document signed by me and an authorized representative of Dreamers Run Club.

12. Severability
If any provision of this Waiver is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Governing Law and Venue
This Waiver shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Waiver or any Event shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

14. Electronic Acknowledgment
I certify that I have read and reviewed this Waiver, understand its terms, and agree that electronically acknowledging, accepting, typing my name, checking a box, signing digitally, or otherwise indicating acceptance of this Waiver is the legally binding equivalent of my handwritten signature.

15. No Duress
I acknowledge and agree that I am signing this Waiver voluntarily, that I am under no pressure or duress to sign it, and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing.

16. Entire Agreement
This Waiver contains the entire agreement between me and Dreamers Run Club regarding the subjects addressed herein and supersedes any prior oral or written statements, understandings, or agreements relating to those subjects.

BY PRINTING, TYPING, SIGNING, CHECKING THE BOX, OR OTHERWISE ENTERING MY FULL NAME BELOW, I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.

What to Bring

Bring yourself, your running shoes, and good energy.

Recommended by Strava:
1. Running/walking shoes — Crocs are brave, but not recommended.
2. Hydration — especially because San Antonio likes to act like the sun lives here.
3. Comfortable clothes — anything you can move, sweat, and socialize in.
4. A light, reflective gear, or headlamp — helpful for early morning or evening runs.
5. Your friends — or come alone and leave with new ones.
6. Your ID/payment card — in case you stay after for coffee, food, drinks, or post-run hangs.
7. A positive attitude — pace does not matter, vibes do.

Optional: Garmin, Apple Watch, Strava, emotional support playlist, and the belief that “it’s only 2–3 miles” will somehow make it easier.

Pace & Fitness Expectations

All paces are welcome at Dreamers Run Club. Seriously — walkers, joggers, runners, first-timers, comeback runners, “I only came because my friend dragged me here” runners, and people who accidentally sprint the first half-mile and immediately regret it.

Most runs are 2–3 miles and are designed to be social, beginner-intermediate friendly, and welcoming. This is not a race, a tryout, or a place where anyone gets judged for their pace.

Our only pace expectation is this:
-- Move at the pace that feels right for you, be respectful of others, and bring good energy.

We usually have people running at different speeds, so you’ll likely find someone around your pace. Whether you’re walking, jogging, running, or doing a mysterious combination of all three, you belong here.

Fast is welcome. Slow is welcome. Showing up is the win.
