Recess Run Club started in December 2022 in Brooklyn, NY. Founded by family and friends as a way to encourage a healthier lifestyle with each other which grew to a much bigger community.
Our mission is to get our community healthier. Grow the sport of running in Black and
Latin communities and end the anxiety of running in the process. Long term goal is to create a blue zone in Brooklyn.
Our run club has over 700 members with 70% of our members are women. We have strong women leadership in our ranks.
